Dima Williams is originally from Bulgaria, where she attended the American University in Bulgaria. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Political Science. She has worked for a variety of publications in the U.S., most recently covering the real estate industry for outlets such as Forbes and The Washington Post. At Kenan-Flagler, Dima is concentrating in Real Estate and Consulting and holds liaison positions with both the Real Estate Club and the Consulting Club. In her free, Dima likes traveling to new places with her husband.

Ella is originally from High Point, NC and earned her Bachelor degree at UNC-Chapel Hill. Before business school, Ella worked as a seventh and eighth grade science teacher in Hanson, Massachusetts. At Kenan-Flagler, Ella is concentrating in Management Consulting and Finance, and serves as the Social Media liaison for the PRIDE Club. In her spare time, Ella enjoys trying new restaurants, baking, and hiking.

Shawn is originally from Post Falls, ID. He attended Seattle Pacific University where he was a member of the Men’s Basketball Team and graduated with a degree in Business – Finance. Before coming to business school, Shawn spent much of his career in the technology industry, most recently as a Business Analyst with Red Hat in Raleigh, NC. At Kenan-Flagler, Shawn is a Dean’s Fellow and holds multiple liaison roles for different clubs and programs. He is concentrating in Consulting with an enrichment concentration in Business Analytics & Management Science. In his spare time, Shawn likes to stay active, tend to his basil plants, play strategy board games, and is a volunteer board member at a local charter school.

Maher is originally from Lebanon. He graduated from the Lebanese American University with a degree in
Economics. After graduation he started, with his twin brother, American Food Trading Company
(AFTCo.), a fast-moving consumer goods importer/distributor, which later became part of his family
business. While at AFTCo. Maher had the opportunity to live in Boston for a few years, where he started
volunteering for AsylumConnect, a tech nonprofit that helps LGBTQ+ immigrants better integrate in
their new home. Maher served as the Director of Development at AsylumConnect, helping with the
fundraising effort of the organization. At Kenan-Flagler, Maher serves as the Diversity & Inclusion liaison
for the Consulting Club, the Diversity & International Student Experience liaison for the Energy Club, and
the Admissions liaison for the PRIDE Club. Maher enjoys playing the piano and going on long hikes
whenever possible.

John is originally from Charlotte, NC. He spent his early years moving around the southeast US from Nashville, TN to Atlanta, GA to Raleigh, NC. In Raleigh, he attended North Carolina State University and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Before coming to UNC, John worked for the National Institutes of Health as a research facilities engineer. Outside of school, he enjoys all things basketball, NC State athletics, and exploring Chapel Hill.

Laura grew up in Minneapolis, MN and attended St. Olaf College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics. She is an MBA/MHA dual degree. Prior to graduate school, Laura worked in healthcare consulting for Huron Consulting Group and The Lewin Group. At Kenan-Flagler, she is pursuing a concentration in Consulting and is a Forte Fellow. Outside of school, Laura enjoys running, going to breweries, watching UNC and Minnesota sports, and traveling.

Neal is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from Penn State University in 2014 with a B.S. in Economics. Prior to business school, Neal worked as an IT project manager at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. When he’s not on Zoom or doing schoolwork, Neal can be found golfing, at a brewery, or chasing his puppy, Sid the Schnoodle, around Chapel Hill.

​Alex grew up in Sheffield, England and studied Arabic with Economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Alex spent nearly a decade living in the Middle East, working primarily on the Syrian civil war where he worked to support UK and US foreign policy and development goals in various roles and projects. At Kenan-Flagler, Alex is looking to specialize in Management Consulting. Alex loves hiking, classical music and traveling. He is married and has one young daughter.

Mark is originally from Wilmington, NC. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with degrees in Management and Political Science. Prior to business school, Mark worked at UBS as a private wealth analyst in Atlanta, GA and most recently as a senior consultant at Oracle NetSuite in Chicago, IL. At Kenan-Flagler, Mark is concentrating in Consulting and Business Analytics & Management Science and serves as the Local Corporate Relations liaison for BTC. Outside school, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and friends at Wrightsville Beach, playing tennis, and watching UNC basketball.
