Lauren Carberry

President

Lauren grew up in the Adirondacks in Queensbury, NY.  Frozen out by the winter, Lauren moved further south to the University of Delaware majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in Sustainable Energy and Technology.  Before coming to business school (and continuing her journey south), she worked with Cree, a LED manufacturing company, as a process sustaining engineer and line manager in Durham, NC.  At Kenan-Flagler, she is concentrating in Management Consulting and Operations.  Lauren is also involved as an MBA ambassador and Forte Fellow.  Outside of school, Lauren fosters dogs, plays sand volleyball, and enjoys DIY house projects.

Ryan Swift

Executive VP

Ryan comes to Chapel Hill from Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Prior to business school, Ryan worked for ConAgra Brands, a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company with many positions across the finance organization. At Kenan-Flagler, he is concentrating in management consulting and also serves as both a Legacy Cup Captain and a Business Career Center Consultant. Ryan enjoys exercise & fitness, board games, a juicy science fiction novel and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Devanshi Patel

VP of Alumni Relations

Devanshi is originally from Los Angeles, California. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Public Health Policy from the University of California, Irvine and her Master’s degree in Health Administration from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Before coming to business school, she worked with Atrium Health, a large healthcare system in Charlotte, NC. At Kenan-Flagler, Devanshi is concentrating in management consulting with an emphasis in Healthcare. Devanshi loves working, working out, and spending time with her puppy, Arya.

Chris Joondeph

VP of Communication

Chris is originally from Denver, Colorado and graduated from Chapman University in Orange County, California with a B.A. in Philosophy. After graduation, Chris spent a year teaching English in Northern Thailand before moving to Washington D.C. to work on Capitol Hill as a digital campaign strategist. Chris is currently pursuing a dual-degree with Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler MBA Program. He spent the first year of his dual-degree program studying in Italy at the Johns Hopkins Bologna Center. Outside of school, Chris is passionate about travel having visited over 90 countries.

Zach Guarino

VP of Corporate Relations

Zach grew up in Winthrop, Massachusetts and attended Elon University, where he earned a degree in Economics. Most recently Zach worked at Stax Inc., a boutique consultancy in Boston, where he advised on due diligence and strategy engagements. At Kenan-Flagler, Zach is the Tillman Legacy Representative, and serves on the executive board of MBA Student Ambassadors and MBASA. Zach is a passionate Boston sports fan, avid golfer, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Devon and miniature dachshund, Cash

Amber Pace

VP of Diversity

Amber is originally from Raleigh, NC. She is a double Tar Heel as she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from UNC Chapel Hill. Prior to business school, Amber worked as a Project Manager for Aetna, a national health insurer in Chicago, IL. Amber is concentrating in Consulting and currently serves as the Consulting Club’s Diversity & Inclusion and Off-Campus Recruiting Liaison. Amber loves fitness and is a self-proclaimed professional Netflix binge-watcher.

Tony Piskurich

VP of Finance

Tony Piskurich is originally from Johnstown, Pennsylvania but has lived the last 10 years in Jacksonville, Florida. He has a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Education, both from Notre Dame. Before coming to business school, he was a middle school math and science teacher and test prep tutor. At Kenan Flagler, he is part of the leadership teams of the Alliance for Minority Business Students (AMBS) and the Community Service club. In his spare time, he enjoys comedic TV shows, trying to stop potential goals in soccer, and hanging out with his wife and two dogs.

Guneet Thakral

VP of International Experience

Guneet got her bachelor’s degree in architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and practiced architecture in India before moving to Chicago in 2015. Here, she took on the role of Marketing and Communications Chair for a 501c3 non-profit focused on funding education for underprivileged children. At Kenan-Flagler, Guneet is a Dean’s Fellow concentrating in Management Consulting. In her free time, she likes reading Urdu poetry and exploring hiking spots with friends. She also binges on The Office when she gets a chance.

Sean Callanan

VP of Learning & Development

Sean grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey. He received his Bachelor’s in Finance and Accounting at University of Maryland – College Park. Prior to business school, he worked to develop and implement retail branding initiatives. Most of his career was spent at Macy’s corporate offices in New York City, but he also worked in consulting roles. Outside of work and school Sean enjoys running, soccer, and travelling. 

Cori Kaylor

VP of Learning & Development

Cori grew up in Baltimore, MD where she attended The McDonogh School. From there, she studied Business and Spanish at Franklin & Marshall College. Upon graduation Cori pursued a career in advertising, working for MullenLowe- Los Angeles and The Martin Agency. At Kenan-Flagler, Cori is pursuing a career in consulting and serves as the Consulting Club’s VP, Deloitte Case Competition. Outside of the classroom, Cori enjoys Power Yoga (certified yoga instructor, YTT-200), indoor spinning, horseback riding, and a glass or two of petite sirah.

Connor Londregan

VP of Learning & Development

Connor is originally from Cranford New Jersey. He graduated from the University of Michigan (Go Blue) with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. Prior to Kenan-Flagler, Connor worked at the Bank of New York Mellon in a data analytics role. This upcoming summer, he will be interning with Bain & Company in their Atlanta office. Outside of school, Connor loves traveling, cooking and all things sports-related. 

Nisarga Phatak

VP of Learning & Development

Nisarga is originally from Mumbai, India and  spent time in Iowa where he attended University of Iowa and received a Ph.D. in chemistry.  He most recently worked at the Food and Drug Administration as a research fellow. At Kenan-Flagler Nisarga is concentrating in consulting and healthcare. He is also part of the student store. Outside school he enjoys hiking, reading and movies. 

Jon Richardson

VP of Off Campus Recruiting

Jon grew up in Texas, where he attended the University of North Texas to study music, and then graduated from Southern Methodist University where he studied English and Human Rights. Before coming back to Kenan-Flagler, he worked in the CPG/retail industry for nearly seven years across a number of roles including sales, analytics, and corporate strategy. He is concentrating in management consulting and sustainable enterprise, and enjoys the outdoors, losing at fantasy sports, and collecting hot sauces.
